Tarocco Ippolito

Is a new Blood Orange Variety developed in Sicily.

The Tarocco Ippolito is a seedless small to medium sized fruit.

Generally, it is orange to red blushed in appearance and has red to crimson coloured flesh.

Blood Oranges obtain their distinctive colour and taste from a group of plant phyto-chemical and antioxidants, called Anthocyanins.

South Australian Riverland Blood Oranges are available in late winter and throughout spring (August until late September).
